The tests allow you to calculate both native and added vitamins. They were developed according to AOAC and EU reference methods. VitaFast test kits provide a fast and easy method of determining the content of vitamins in food products, animal feed and pharmaceutical products. The microtitre plates for these microbiological assays are coated with specific microorganisms, which grow according to the presence/absence of vitamins in the sample....

Because folate (a form of the B vitamin folic acid) and vitamins B6 and B12 help keep homocysteine levels in check, might these vitamins be linked to Alzheimer's? This study involved 965 people, older than 65 and dementia-free, who were questioned about what they ate and what supplements they took. Over six years, Alzheimer's disease was diagnosed in 192 of the participants. Those who had consumed the highest amounts of folate from diet and supplements combined were less likely to have Alzheimer's than were those who had consumed less folate. No relationship was found between dementia and the intake of vitamins B6 and B12. Who may be affected | Older people....

| | | Sonic Loves Muscle Vitamins | | Posted Saturday, October 28, 2006 1:30:01 PM by Blog57 Team | | The horror. Sonic and Tails have been reduced to selling tubs of creatine supplements in some dude's town. Reader Dave sends word from Ontario: I was passing this health food store in my city and noticed that several unlicensed SEGA characters graced it's window... I love SEGA and Dreamcast, but I'm still just surprised they didn't use Mario or Pokemon or something. At the local annual farm fair they were still offering sonic stuffed prizes at a couple of the rigged games, too. Maybe there used to be a game shop there and they just didn't wash the window. There's something strange afoot at the Sport Nutrition Depot, Dave. Brian Ashcraft .... | |

Chavarro, a research fellow in the Department of Nutrition and an author of the study, wrote in an e-mail. Chavarro's preliminary results were presented last Monday during the annual meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine....
